Checkatrade Abandoned Us in a Pinch
We were completely reliant on Checkatrade to source us a reliable tradesperson for our home improvement. We joined and listed our requirements, but unfortunately, we were left high and dry.
- Absolutely no one reached out to us.
- The few quotes we did receive were simply too expensive.
- Worst of all, their helpline was abysmal.
We are very disappointed with Checkatrade and would strongly advise using their platform. There are much better alternatives out there. We feel sorry for having wasted our money on this disappointing service.

We Paid, But Never Saw the Work: Checkatrade Fail.
My rundown with Checkatrade became a total disaster. I hired a trader through their website to handle some vital home repairs. They seemed reliable at first, but it turned out a appalling ordeal.
Despite I sent the full amount upfront, the work completely vanished into thin check here air. Communication became impossible. It's been months, and I'm still left with a gaping hole where my sense of security once was.
Checkatrade has been unhelpful throughout this whole process. They laughed at my plight. It feels like I've been robbed.
- Stay far, far away from Checkatrade.
- Don't fall into the same trap I did.
- Share your experience.
